Multimodal Friar's Tale Presentation

Multimodal Presentation | Chaucer | Fall 2024

This presentation shows my analysis of classic works of literature. It shows my abilty with analysis and graphic design. I was able to analyze Middle-English texts and draw modern comparisons, making the text palitable and understandable to modern readers. The research involved extensive textual analysis and the integration of scholarly sources on literary theory, regional literature, and cultural studies.

Southern Gothic MicroFiction

This is a short story I wrote for a creative writing class. It is meant to be a piece of Southern Gothic microfiction. This work shows my creative writing ability. It shows my understanding of literary genres and my ability with blending aspects of different genres to make new creative works. Southern Gothic is a significant genre but my piece of writing contributes also to the new emerging genre of microfiction.

The Labor Movement today and how we got here

Research Paper | Rhetoric of Social Movements| Spring 2021

This is a research paper about the Labor Movement in the United States. It is about the history of the Labor Movement using research to cover major events that led to breakthroughs in workers rights. It also uses the lessons of past labor movements and organizing to contrast with labor organizing today and show how past techniques of labor organizing can be used today. All of this shows my ability with doing research, writing and my ability to use research for a practical purpose.
